OUR STORY: ENGINEERING-DRIVEN REFURBISHMENT FOR THE GLOBAL RAIL INDUSTRY

RailTrades was created with a clear purpose: bringing structured, high-quality locomotive refurbishment expertise to operators worldwide. What began as a collaboration between engineers, technicians, and project managers with decades of experience has evolved into a complete support platform for fleet modernization.

Our work is built on real industrial know-how: mechanical overhauls, electrical systems, diagnostics, component engineering, and workshop processes—all refined through years of hands-on practice inside certified European facilities.

Today, RailTrades supports customers in rebuilding and upgrading their fleets, applying a method that ensures repeatability, reliability, and long-term operational independence.

RailTrades transferred not only technical knowledge, but the full process behind a professional refurbishment program. Our team became autonomous far beyond our expectations.

Specialized Industrial Partners

We collaborate with multiple Italian companies specialized in locomotive construction, heavy mechanical overhauls, electrical refurbishment, component engineering, and certified workshop equipment such as underfloor lathes and lifting systems.
These partnerships allow us to deliver complete refurbishment solutions—engineering, components, processes, and on-site support.

Expert Engineering Teams

Our engineering teams support diagnostics, electrical diagrams, component development, calculations, procedural documents, and technical supervision during refurbishment activities.
Their expertise ensures every client receives a fully structured and repeatable method, not a one-off service.
